OUR BELIEFS

Webb City Church is part of the greater Church of the Nazarene. We believe that God created you,  loves you, and desires to have a relationship with you. 

We also believe that you don’t need to believe that before you come to our church. We value creating a culture of belonging, and you are welcome here regardless of how different or messy your beliefs or background may be.   

We believe that as you get to know Jesus, He will inspire you to become just like Him. Our message is focused on how a personal relationship with Jesus can transform our lives.

WE BELIEVE in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are completely inspired by God and contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

WE BELIEVE that human beings are born with a fallen/sinful nature, and are, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

WE BELIEVE that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

WE BELIEVE that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ experiences salvation from the dominion of sin.

WE BELIEVE that believers, after the experience of salvation, are to be sanctified wholly (fully consecrate their lives) through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth (salvation), and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

WE BELIEVE that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised to life, and the final judgment will take place.
